Outkast fans hope for album after Big Boi and Andre 3000 reunite
Last fall, Andre 3000 shocked many fans, after finally releasing a solo album, “New Blue Sun.” However, this project was full of instrumentals. Fans had jokes, as the Outkast legend was playing the flute. In addition to 3000 being on this project, he was also joined by Nate Mercereau, Surya Botofasina, Deantoni Parks, Diego Gaeta, Matthew David, V.C.R, Jesse Peterson, and Mia Doi Todd. New Blue Sun contained eight songs in total, and went on to see a number 34 in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart.
Meanwhile, the fans hope that Andre 3000 and Big Boi will link up once again, for another Outkast album. This comes after Big Boi posted a video of the two hanging out together, as speculation soared of whether or not the first Outkast album since 2006 will finally arrive.
For now, fans can check out Andre 3000 at his New Blue Sun Tour. This kicked off on January 29, in Brooklyn. The tour will run until March 9, as five straight shows in Los Angeles will take place.
