Peace time in hip hop is over, all these rap dudes are at each others’ throats and it is the perfect time for Papoose to resurface. People really following dude know he really hasn’t been anywhere. Dropping mixtapes on top of each other, Papoose finally released his debut album, The Nacirema Dream, but that was for the fans.
Papoose got a lot more attention when he made himself the face of the “king of New York” situation last month. A lot of New York rappers talked, including Fabolous, others dissed, including Astro, but Papoose got the most attention. Even with talk about the situation dying down, Papoose continues to be vocal.
Vlad TV had a sit-down with Papoose and they have run through a lot of the details behind his reason for going as hard as he has. Papoose has also taken his shots at Kanye West and Drake. In the latest Vlad TV clip, Papoose explained his reasons for going after those guys.
