Taking on a job, such as a pastor, is tough, because public speaking can be difficult. Getting in front of a crowd means anything can go wrong. Being willing to be a public figure means a lot of risk, when a person is self-conscious. Even a person who isn’t self-conscious would have a hard time overcoming something like this, though. A preacher was delivering his sermon and he lost his pants mid-sentence.
Church is one place where people are guaranteed to come and sit down. As a result, the speaker has the undivided attention of the audience, by default. This means that not only is every word being heard, but every mistake is also up for scrutiny. There are some people who come to events like church just to laugh at moments like those, unfortunately.
However, the chances of a man delivering a sermon and losing his pants are slim to none. Then again, chances only become chances because it happened. While it may be entertainment for the rest of the world, it was reality for this preacher. During his sermon, he lost his pants. This left the man no choice but to put his pants back on, right in front of the congregation.
