Paul George blamed after Pacers blow 25 point lead vs Cavs
Not too long ago, Paul George was considered the biggest threat to LeBron James. On top of that, the Pacers were a legitimate threat and one of the NBA’s best teams. The last time the Pacers were that relevant, Reggie Miller was playing and not commentating. During the Paul George era, that has changed.
Paul George plays a completely different role than Reggie Miller, but like him, he’s the Pacers’ leader. So far, George’s playoff record is almost identical to Miller’s with the heartbreaking losses. For a while, they had a rivalry with LeBron’s Miami Heat. Now the Pacers have a rivalry with LeBron with his return to the Cavs.
Tonight, Paul George and his Pacers looked like they were going to make this into a real series. Too bad for them that LeBron James turned it up and went King James on the Pacers. This led to the Cavaliers coming back from 25 down to take a 3-0 series lead. Now, the fans on NBA Twitter are questioning who Paul George will blame on the loss, with Lance Stephenson being a target.
