Kanye West has been posting epic numbers, with his new 10th studio album, “Donda.” It’s expected to become the number one album on the Billboard 200 chart this weekend as well, with over 350,000 units sold. It’s also regarded by many as an album of the year candidate, after being delayed three times, from late July-late August.
Now, the Donda album isn’t being boasted by others. Pitchfork editor Dylan Green gave Donda a 6.0 score, while the Peppa Pig album, “Peppa’s Adventures: The Album,” received a 6.5.
The Peppa Pig Twitter feed ended up posting a tweet about this ranking and even took some shots at Ye. In the since-deleted tweet, it read “Peppa didn’t need to host listening parties in Mercedes-Benz Stadium to get that .5 [microphone emoji] [pig emoji].”
Ye hasn’t responded to Peppa yet, but this is definitely a very entertaining competition. Check out the deleted tweet about Peppa Pig’s higher Pitchfork ranking, below.
