The time has come for one of music’s most praised creators to tell his story in his own way. Pharrell Williams is giving the world a peek at this Lego biopic, titled Piece by Piece. Backed by Focus Features, Piece by Piece tells his career journey through the eyes of toys. In addition to detailing his musical impact, the film will highlight Pharrell’s cultural dominance in fashion and mainstream media.
Pharrell Williams’s journey is one more than worthy of a biopic. With a list of talents including music producer, songwriter, rapper and fashion designer, his brand is a complete empire. Although famously praised for the co-creation of The Neptunes and producer of countless hits, his fashion and lifestyle are also admired. Last year, Pharrell made an incredible power move by accepting the position of Creative Director for Louis Vuitton. At the top of the year he created the Men’s Fall-Winter 2024 Fashion show in Paris.
As for music, the beloved hitmaker is still in the studio. In April of this year, he released a 10-track album titled Black Yacht Rock, Vol 1 City of Limitless Access. Piece by Piece also stars celebrities like Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z and others. The film is set to hit theaters October 11th.
