Pooh Shiesty releasing “Certified” album on April 29
Last week, Pooh Shiesty was officially sentenced, in his federal firearms case, from October 2020. This was regarding a drug and sneaker deal gone wrong, in Miami, where Shiesty reportedly shot the dealer.
Shiesty ended up being hit with a 63-month sentence. The Memphis rapper was originally facing life in prison, but it soon got reduced to 20, and then eight years. This was after Shiesty plead guilty to one firearms conspiracy charge. 63 months ended up being the final verdict, though.
A day later, Shiesty thanked his fans for all the support, while expressing disappointment that he still can’t be home. This week though, he put out the music video to his “Gone MIA” song, from his 2021 “Shiesty Season” mixtape. That project debuted at number two, ion the Billboard 200 chart. 2021 was Shiesty’s breakout year, as his “Back In Blood” single with Lil Durk, became one of the biggest records of the year. Shiesty is also signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records.
Now, Shiesty has a new album coming this Friday. He just took to Instagram to announce this, all while revealing that he’s doing an NFT giveaway. This is Shiesty’s first project, since getting incarcerated, last Memorial Day weakened. Shiesty’s last song came in December, with his “Federal Contraband Freestyle.”
