It’s been over a year now since Pop Smoke was tragically shot and killed in a home he rented at in Hollywood Hills, CA. Four men entered his home around 4am, as they targeted the Brooklyn rapper after seeing his address on his Instagram stories. This week, a preliminary hearing was held for 20-year-old suspect Corey Walker, who was reportedly involved in Smoke’s murder.
A detective at this hearing revealed how Smoke was in the shower at this home while a woman was held at gun point. Smoke ran out the shower and was soon shot at. He was then kicked on, was able to get up and run, and was soon shot again. Smoke wasn’t able to make it in surgery.
Now, Smoke’s brother, Obasi Jackson, has taken to Instagram to voice his frustration with this murder case. He also vented on how people weren’t at the home to have Smoke’s back and protect him.
“Somethings not right about this case! The info not matching and ppl moving crazy. Bashar on God we getting to the bottom of it I’m sorry da real wasn’t with you.I’m sorry you said n*ggas would shoot back and they didn’t. I’m sorry you thought n*ggas would fight for you and they’re not even doing that in death.”
In Jackson’s Instagram caption, he added that things will be figured out and how he warned Smoke about this gang lifestyle. He also called out people who claim to say they love Smoke but don’t have the proper recognition towards him and his family.
