On-demand Starz viewers have taken in “Power” almost a full 24 hours ahead of the television premiere. But, according to social media, fans finally got their wish. Throughout the history of the series, there has been a low-key antagonist in Holly (Lucy Walters).
Introduced in season one as a bartender in Ghost’s (Omari Hardwick) club, Truth, Holly caught Tommy’s (Joseph Sikora) eye. After becoming a couple, Tommy told Holly about Ghost’s identity. Later, Holly stole Tasha’s (Naturi Naughton) earrings.
Holly wanted Tommy to take out Ghost for Lobos (Enrique Murciano) and due to her own dislike of him. Apparently, her move of going behind Tommy’s back to the Jamaicans was a costly one. Aside from praising the episode, Twitter mainly celebrated the death of Holly, but we have to wait to watch tonight’s episode.
