Seeing how the past three years have gone, it’s easy to forget Drake used to be considered an easy target. Of course, people remember the “diss me, you’ll never hear a reply for it” phase. That same album had the warning from Jay-Z about how rappers would try him.
Pusha T became the first rapper to go at Drake, leading to him beefing with his former allies, at Cash Money. Since then, things have gone back to being relatively peaceful. The past four years have seen Pusha keeping a low profile.
Yesterday, Pusha T teased his album, DAYTONA, which drops tomorrow. Last night, he teased a track that’s throwing more shots at his 2012 rival, Drake. The line says, “it was written, like Nas, but it came from Quentin,” a reference to Quentin Miller ghostwriting from Drake.
