Fresh off the release of Lost Jewelry, Raekwon is currently providing the soundtrack for most hip hop fans, as they kick off the New Year. The Wu-Tang rapper released his EP as a prequel for his upcoming album. Raekwon last released an album in 2011, Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang.
Following much discussion, Raekwon revealed his latest album will be released in 2013 and will continue his Only Built 4 Cuban Linx series. In 2009, Raekwon returned to the rap game with Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… Pt. 2. Many felt Raekwon should not do another album under the title, but he managed to score a second classic.
With Lost Jewelry out, Raekwon is working on going for three out of three in his Only Built 4 Cuban Linx series. Earlier today, Raekwon spoke to Sermon’s Domain and they spoke about his impact on hip hop. Raekwon also took time out to preview his upcoming album.
