While most wouldn’t say Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug are the absolute top two rappers in Atlanta, they are major forces. Out of all the rising rappers in Atlanta, or even the South for that matter, they are at the top of the list. The two have been best friends, until recently.
Rich Homie Quan had a breakout hit in “Type of Way” in 2013. But, he truly gained fame when he teamed up with Birdman, who also took his friend, Young Thug, under his wing. While they weren’t signed to the official Cash Money Records, they represent Rich Gang.
During SXSW in Austin, Rich Homie Quan was present. He did an interview with Drea O. The interview centered around Rich Homie Quan’s statements of focusing more on his solo work and less on Rich Gang. He ended up confronting the Young Thug concert footage where he called him “Bitch Homie Quan.”
