Since the early days of his career, Rick Ross was no stranger to controversy. After putting out a few minor hits, Rick Ross put himself on the national stage when he took 50 Cent on. Surprisingly, he won that beef and then moved on.
Rick Ross always had a great relationship with DJ Khaled and this led to him working more with Cash Money Records. When Ross signed both Wale and Meek Mill, Birdman announced MMG was going to sign with Cash Money. In the end, that did not happen.
Now, Rick Ross considers himself at odds with Birdman, someone he admitted to looking up to. Also, Rick Ross has made it clear he is no longer on good terms with Drake, which is a shame considering the hits they have made. When Ross went on N.O.R.E.’s “Drink Champs” podcast, he made it clear he wasn’t scared of Drake and warned him to “tighten up.”
