The clip from this interview still has people on Twitter and Instagram going back and forth, but here is the whole interview. In 2017, Safaree began making his way through the VH1 shows. That season saw the network bring back old stars for “Scared Famous.”
This is when Erica Mena returned, having not been on any VH1 program since “Love & Hip Hop,” season five. On “Scared Famous,” she was interacting with Safaree, who she turned down several times. It was an odd time, as he and Juju were getting close on their show.
Erica Mena would ultimately do a season of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” where she pursued Tommie. Meanwhile, Safaree went through all kinds of drama on both “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” and “Love & Hip Hop,” before he and Erica got together. With Nessa, on Hot 97, the two discussed their relationship, music, and this is where Erica tried to shade Nicki Minaj.
