In late December, Saweetie surprised many of her fans, by revealing her new haircut. This cut displayed the Bay Area rapper with a shaven, blonde look. Many fans loved the day Saweetie pulled it off, as she went viral all over social media.
Now, Saweetie is opening up about her decision to show off this new look. For her, it was about a fresh start, and the energy that hairstyles bring. In this interview, Saweetie also featured a new hairstyle.
“Meditation, as crazy as it sounds, because I just found so much clarity within myself,” Saweetie said. “I wanted to start over and I did research about hair and hair holds a lot of energy. And I really wanted to just feel new and fresh with this new music. I won’t say new me. But elevated me. I really just wanted to start over again.”
