Ten years ago, Scott Storch established himself as one of the biggest producers in the game. Producing “Candy Shop” for 50 Cent helped to make Scott Storch a household name. But, his biggest hits came working alongside 50 Cent rivals, Fat Joe and Game.
Still, Scott Storch managed to forge a relationship with the biggest producer in hip hop history, arguably, Dr. Dre. His talents led to Storch being mentored by Dr. Dre, something not many people get. However, as fortunes would have it, it was not meant to last.
Scott Storch recently spoke to Hip-Hop Wired and he would open up about his relationship with Dr. Dre. Being supported by Dr. Dre, earlier in his career, Scott Storch soon lost that affiliation. He would blame this on his drug addiction, saying his habit drove him away.
