Silento Indicted on Four Felony Charges in Shooting Death of His Cousin

Back in January, Silento was arrested for the shooting death of his cousin, in Atlanta. His publicist went on to claim that the “Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae” rapper was dealing with mental health troubles. Now, it looks like the 23-year-old rapper will do some significant prison time.

According to TMZ, Georgia grand jury indicted Silento, on four felony charges, which include one count of malice murder and one count of felony murder, aggravated assault and gun possession during the commission of a felony.

The individual who was shot and killed by Silento was Frederick Rooks. He was gunned down in the middle of the street back on January 21, in DeKalb County. Currently, Silento isn’t allowed to received any bond.

Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae originally peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Currently, it is 6x platinum in the US, after originally being released in May 2015.
