Snoop Dogg and son Cordell launch Death Row Games

The legend of Death Row records is expanding to give modern creators a powerful platform. Earlier this week Snoop Dogg and his son Cordell Broadus introduced Death Row Games. A new division under the famous Death Row record label, this sector focuses on giving minority creators and artist a platform to thrive. Creators under Death Row Games will develop and publish for Fortnite using the games Unreal Editor.

Although a new venture, Snoop Dogg is becoming a powerhouse in the technology world. Earlier this year Snoop in partnership with son Cordell, launched the worlds first NFT restaurant group. In collaboration with Food Fighters Universe (FUU), Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration opened in Los Angeles. Just like his father, Cordell also made his own name in the technology world through NFT’s. Cordell created the popular Bored Ape NFT named Champ Medici, which he then grew through a partnership with Asia-based marketing agency Gushcloud International.

Further building the Death Row legacy, both Snoop and Cordell strive to change the narrative surrounding minority creators. In an interview for AFROTECH Cordell elaborated on the importance of  representation in all sectors not just talent, he stated “We wanted to make sure that we’re part of the decision that’s being made and more importantly tell these stories from diverse creators and focus on creatives in underserved communities.”
