No hip hop show is complete without an appearance from Snoop Dogg towards the end of the season. “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” and “Hollywood” went this route, as did “Empire.” The season finale of “Empire” was full of big moments and big appearances.
Snoop Dogg is likely the only universally liked figure in hip hop and he’s worked hard for that position. Early in his career, Snoop Dogg wasn’t that guy and now he hosts award shows, enough said. He is clearly big enough to be someone Terrence Howard’s Lucious Lyon wants to work with.
While many of the other celebrity appearances on “Empire” received mixed reviews, Snoop Dogg did not suffer from this fate. No surprise here, but the fans loved Snoop Dogg’s appearance on the show. Another non-shocker, the fans did not hesitate to show him love on Twitter for it.
