Snoop Dogg talks Dr. Dre and past East/West rivalry with Nessa on Hot 97 [VIDEO]

Snoop Dogg Hot 97Recently, Snoop Dogg came out and showed love to New York City at the event Hot 97 held. The event was headlined by Snoop Dogg and Diddy, who was in Puff Daddy mode. This signaled the official end of the tension that held hip hop back, two decades ago.

Snoop Dogg was one of the first West Coast artists to admit to not having real beef with East Coast rappers. In fact, Snoop Dogg got in Tupac’s crosshairs when he revealed he liked The Notorious B.I.G.’s music. But, it was those moves that helped bring peace and move hip hop forward.

Backstage at this event, Snoop Dogg talked to Hot 97’s Nessa about how far they have come. In this interview, Snoop Dogg reflected on the East Coast/West Coast beef that took place all of those years ago. He went on to reveal he and Dr. Dre used to record music to impress the New York hip hop scene, before talking about his upcoming album, Bush.
