Until 2014, Solange was viewed by many as just Beyonce’s little sister. It was one moment in May, of that year, that forever changed Solange’s career and media perception. For reasons still unknown, Solange attacked Jay Z in the elevator, leading to him releasing a statement.
Solange always had a big fan base and it got that much bigger after the incident. Now, there is a big audience that patiently waits on her to deliver new music. Recently, Solange gave this audience of fans something to be happy about.
Many fans have taken to Twitter, expressing joy in Solange finally revealing her album release date. The new album, A Seat At The Table, is due on September 30, this Friday. She made the announcement via Instagram and Twitter is all over it.
