The West Coast is currently enjoying a strong comeback. Newcomers such as Kendrick Lamar and the rest of the Top Dawg Entertainment movement. With the barrage of newcomers entering the rap game from the Los Angeles area, many veterans are also stepping up. Dr. Dre has been on a bit of a comeback, as has Game who is fresh off the release of The R.E.D. Album and has a new project in the works.
SoPresice has been making moves out West for some time. While he has not had much shine in the spotlight, SoPresice has collaborated with many big names from different regions. Among those he has collaborated with is Chris Brown. On the mixtape level, SoPresice has dominated for some time and now he is preparing his new album.
The No Nuts No Glory mixtape series did well for SoPresice, who has his Rules of Engagement project on the way too, which will be hosted by DJ YRS Jerzy. While he has new mixtapes in the works, SoPresice also has his debut album, Fastlane or Die, Vol. 1 coming in mid-August. In the meantime, SoPresice will hold his followers over with new mixtapes and singles. Next week, SoPresice will drop the visuals to his “Goodbye” single, dedicated to his grandmother, on Hip Hop Vibe on June 11.
