Many artists have already begun their boycott of Gucci after they sold a sweater this week that depicted a racist blackface design. T.I. told people to stop wearing Gucci for three months and for black people to take their dollars and business elsewhere. Soulja Boy said he’s done with Gucci as well after spending millions of dollars on them over the past 10 years.
Soulja said he’s all about Fendi and Fashion Nova now. He’s also had a Gucci logo tattoo on his forehead for a while now. According to TMZ, he said he’s already in the process of removing that tat. He has two more appointments to go to get it removed. He’s already completed three.
Soulja also added that he’ll donate his current Gucci clothing to charity. He’s skeptical if they’ll take it though due to the damage that brand has caused with that sweater. When asked if there’s any way he’d go back to Gucci, Soulja said they have to flat out cut the check and give him a personal apology.
