IShowSpeed was the target of a dangerous prank that could have ended badly. This past decade has seen a dangerous prank, called “swatting” become popular. What happens is that people call the SWAT team in on an unsuspecting person. As a result, the SWAT team comes busting in on a person. Not only is this prank life threatening, but also, it’s a waste of money, and time that could be spent solving an actual crime. With IShowSpeed, it happened during his live stream.
IShowSpeed is only eighteen years old and he rose to fame as a gamer. In addition, he is a rapper, but he’s shown himself gaming on YouTube. As a result, he was able to build a massive following. This large following has allowed IShowSpeed to amass a large sum of money. So, he’s been doing things like buying homes, and showing his progress on social media, via his streams. Clearly, there are some people unhappy with Speed’s success.
IShowSpeed ended up having the highest rated live stream of his career. However, it came for all of the wrong, and most dangerous reasons. While he was streaming, an unsuspecting IShowSpeed dealt with the SWAT team busting into his brand new house with their guns drawn. Fortunately, they didn’t open fire on him. The situation definitely scared Speed, but nothing actually happen. It became clear this was another swatting prank, as Speed did nothing wrong.
