T.I. talks “Trouble Man: He Who Wears The Crown” delay with MTV’s “RapFix Live” [VIDEO]

T.I. RapFixIn 2011, after being released from prison, T.I. revealed he was working on a new album entitled Trouble Man. He continued promotion of the album in 2012 and he revealed the full title, which is Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head. The album was released late in 2012 and T.I. revealed a sequel was in the works.

Almost immediately, T.I. also revealed his label affiliation with Atlantic Records was over and he was looking for a new deal. Throughout 2013, Hustle Gang has operated independently. They have flirted with Atlantic Records, eOne Entertainment, Epic Records, and Columbia Records.

Trouble Man: He Who Wears The Crown was intended to be the new T.I. album and released in 2013. But, when T.I. signed with Columbia Records, he revealed the album would be delayed until 2014. T.I. explained all of this to Sway on MTV’s “RapFix Live,” saying he has a new concept and title now.
