Tamara Kissen blames racism on awkward City Girls interview

Tamara Kissen recently went viral for her interview with City Girls at Rolling Loud. Awkward is the best way to describe their conversation. From the looks of the conversation, Tamara Kissen was not too familiar with City Girls. As a result, Kissen found herself being roasted on social media. However, she also responded to the backlash. Among other things, Tamara Kissen said she is “not fully Black,” and that’s the problem. She said her race led to her being set up for failure.

Tamara Kissen is one of a few ladies who host for Rolling Loud. In addition to hosting their concerts, Rolling Loud also interviews the celebrities. Over the past five years, City Girls have been one of the most successful acts in the game. As a result, Rolling Loud made sure City Girls was out there. Simply their personality is enough for it to be a good show. Despite this, Tamara Kissen did not have a very good interview with the ladies.

Tamara Kissen saw a lot of commentary about her conversation with City Girls. Unfortunately for her, not much of the commentary was good. As any person would, Tamara Kissen defended herself, taking to social media to tell her side of the story. In response to the backlash, Kissen boasted that she still got paid. However, she said much of the struggle came from her being half White, and not fully Black. She said, because of that, she was set up for failure.
