Taraji P. Henson wins Outstanding Actress at 2018 Image Awards

Everybody loves Taraji P. Henson, and it’s hard not to. Yeah, she was always a force in black entertainment, but when she proved she could be the top actress in all of Hollywood, it was inspiring. For that, the masses will never turn on Taraji P. Henson.

She is doing her thing and is currently promoting Proud Mary, her newest movie. Along with that, Taraji is still on “Empire,” owning the role of Cookie Lyon. This season saw her face off with Phylicia Rashad, where people believe she more than held her own.

Taraji P. Henson has dominated these award shows, ever since the premiere of “Empire.” Tonight, she won Outstanding Actress, for her work as Cookie Lyon. However, many fans were disappointed in another win for “Empire” and Kerry Washington, or Viola Davis, not winning, due to their critically-acclaimed roles.
