Three weeks ago, Tekashi 6ix9ine did some hard snitching in court as he recalled who robbed him in his hometown of Brooklyn last summer for his jewelry along with saying that Jim Jones was a Nine Trey Blood as well. He added that Cardi B and Trippie Redd had gang affiliations too. This was to help beat his racketeering, murder conspiracy, drugs and weapons case where he’s currently facing 47 years. He was taken into federal custody in November of 2018. He ended up having a top two album on the Billboard 200 chart after being in custody with “Dummy Boy” as well.
6ix9ine’s rumored sentencing date has been January of 2020 for a while now and according to Matthew Russell of the Inner City Press, that will be the case. The exact date is January 24, 2020 at 10am.
Because of all the cooperation with the feds, a 47-year sentence seems very unlikely at this point. Many expect 6ix9ine to even walk out as a free man. The biggest concern when he gets out though is his safety. He could be a target due to snitching in court. Rappers may also be skeptical of working with him. Notable names in the industry such as T.I. and Irv Gotti have said that 6ix9ine should be fine though considering the fact that snitching seems normalized in this era.
