There is much turmoil going on, with “The Chi,” right now. Over three seasons, it has become one of Showtime’s most popular shows. As the series has grown, it has made major celebrities out of Tiffany Boone and Jason Mitchell, two of the show’s lead actors.
Jason Mitchell, last week, was outed for sexual harassment claims, against Boone, who plays his love interest. Fans of “The Chi” have waited for Lena Waithe, the series’ showrunner, to speak on it. She did, yesterday, saying she knew for a while, getting dragged on Twitter.
Social media was upset for Lena Waithe for knowing about the allegations about Jason Mitchell, yet doing nothing. Despite being the alleged victim, Tiffany Boone, is also on the bad side of fans. Under her own IG comments, Tiffany Boone is being dragged, and accused of setting Jason Mitchell up, among other claims.
