Long before the “Love & Hip Hop” era, VH1 won with their “Celebreality” programming block. Initially known for centering reality shows around washed up stars, VH1 inadvertently put Flavor Flav back in the spotlight. His eccentric personality brought record ratings to VH1.
In addition to himself, Flavor Flav made stars out of many others. This list of stars started with New York, real name Tiffany Pollard. After she got her heart broken by Flavor Flav twice, New York got her own chance to break hearts with “I Love New York.”
Since 2008, New York has remained out of the spotlight, as VH1 was forced to change its network focus. She made her return to the headlines when she did “Botched” on E!, which is the springboard to her being a part of a new reality show on the network. Many people had a lot to say about New York on Twitter due to her “Botched” appearance.
