All of the commentary from Kanye West has been troubling, to say the very least. The Chicago rapper is known for speaking out, politically, but he’s completely switched sides. People really began to notice Kanye for who he was, when he called out George W. Bush.
This is the same man who is now giving Donald Trump call kinds of props, calling him his “brother.” Because of Trump’s rhetoric towards the urban communities, this has caused much hip hop backlash. One legend, Daz Dillinger, spoke out.
Daz Dillinger told the Crips, his gang affiliation, that they have a green light to go after Kanye. TMZ reported that Kanye West beefed up his security, after this. This afternoon, TMZ reported that they called the sheriff’s department and asked them if they were looking at Daz Dillinger’s video, and they said they are, to see if there’s a “prosecutable crime.”

TMZ called the Sheriff’s Dept. Monday to ask if Dillinger’s video was something they were looking at. At the time, the Sheriff’s Dept. was unaware Dillinger had posted the threat to Kanye, but today a Sheriff’s Dept. source told us detectives are now looking at the video to determine if there’s a “prosecutable crime.”
