Early this year, Trey Songz returned to the top of the game with his “NaNa” single, produced by DJ Mustard. This single ended up being the lead single off Trigga, his sixth studio album. Trigga is also a nickname Trey Songz has had over the past six years.
Trey Songz first entered the game alongside Twista, his then-label-mate at Atlantic Records. His first single saw a dred-head Trey Songz alongside Twista on “Gotta Make It.” Two years later, Trey Songz returned with a more mature style and it has worked for him.
Devi Dev is with 93.7 The Beat in Houston and she hosted Trey Songz, who is on a promotional run for Trigga. She sat him down and she discussed with him his growth as an artist and as a man. Trey Songz spoke on Trigga and explained his nine years in the industry.
