Few rappers in the game can match the enthusiasm Turk has had over the past year. Not a lot of people know what it’s like to spend the better part of a decade in prison to then be freed. Obviously, it would make a person want to make the most out of life at every turn and this has been the best way to describe Turk.
The issues that plagued his relationships beforehand did not matter, as Turk had immediate hopes of putting out new music. Turk wasted no time reaching out to Birdman, Mannie Fresh, and Lil Wayne. Unfortunately, B.G. was sentenced to prison as Turk was being released, but they had an impassioned phone call.
Recently, Turk hinted at a deal with Rap-A-Lot Records, after he had gotten upset with his former label-mates. Yesterday, Turk posted on Twitter about J. Prince offering him a deal at Rap-A-Lot Records. This morning, he has confirmed this new record deal, so hopefully Turk fans will soon have a new album.
