His reasoning was because they had not made a mainstream impact, they have now.

In New York City for Summer Jam, Ty Dolla $ign talked to Hot 97’s morning show, speaking to Ebro and DJ Cipha Sounds. When they talked, Ty Dolla $ign revealed he introduced DJ Mustard to production. He also talked about the Summer Jam set he performed with Trey Songz.
