TV star Tyler Christopher found dead at 50 years old
Tyler Christopher is well-known in the soap opera world. During the 1990s, Christopher rose to fame, as one of the main characters on “General Hospital.” Christopher played on the show, on and off, through the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s. In addition, he had a role on “Days of Our Lives.” Christopher last appeared on television in 2019. Since then, he has dealt with mental health and substance issues. He discussed this during an interview with former GH co-star, Maurice Benard. This evening, news broke of Christopher’s passing.
Tyler Christopher abruptly left “General Hospital” during the summer of 2016. There were reports that claimed he had a mental breakdown while on set. After that, Christopher joined the “Days of Our Lives” cast. Similarly, Christopher abruptly “Days of Our Lives.” Years later, Christopher appeared on his former “General Hospital” co-star, Maurice Benard’s show, “State of Mind.” During that interview, he confirmed having breakdowns on set. In addition, he opened up about having bipolar disorder.
