With New York hip hop needing a breath of fresh air, Vado has been among the new rappers stepping up to the plate. On the mixtape scene, Vado has released several popular tapes and tracks. Now a veteran in the mixtape game, the Dipset rapper is preparing to enter the big leagues. However, Vado still has more mixtapes planned before this time.

Vado was introduced by Cam’ron, during his feud with Jim Jones and Juelz Santana. It was during this period when each rapper established their own crew under the Diplomat umbrella. The chemistry between Cam’ron and Vado nearly prompted Cam to not reunite with his original crew. But, eventually, the reunion took place and Vado has greatly benefited from it.

Now, Vado has established a name for himself outside of Diplomat Records and he is preparing for the next step in his career. Vado’s most-recent release was his latest mixtape, Slime Flu 2. Many wondered why Cam’ron was not a part of the mixtape, as he has been on all of Vado’s projects. Recently, Vado explained this, saying the new mixtape was about him coming into his own.
