The internet is indeed a strange place and, for much of its existence, it has been misused. But, now, there is a place that exists for people to be held accountable. A big thing about the internet is that everything is permanent.
Topics of racism, colorism, and other kinds of prejudices against people for being people are being tackled. Real life lessons are presented in the video clips that go viral. Yesterday, aside from the Carmelo Anthony drama, there was this video clip that reached 9 million views.
A Latina woman was on the phone with her boyfriend, presumably a black man, and she was cursing him out, calling him the N-word. Many people on Twitter questioned why she used that word. Then, people spoke out, saying how black women are often trashed for being loud and angry, but this woman is being praised for the same reasons.
