Wale hints at new music this Friday
Breaking his silence, Wale is back with new music for fans and the world. Taking a quick break after the release of his 2022 album More About Nothing, the rap star is ready to add to his unique brand. On Tuesday, he made a single post on his Instagram page letting fans know the “Folarin is back”. In the post he also adds a picture with the message, there’s no potential in a friendship, that comes with intentions. He then, added a third slide with an interesting video including his name and Folarin together. Fans and fellow superstars like Issa Rae, Rick Ross and Ty Dolla $ign all commented under the post, sharing their excitement.

During the early 2000’s, Wale emerged as one of the top rising hip-hop artist. Although his 2009 single with Lady Gaga “Chillin” is his first Billboard entry, he found worldwide fame on Waka Flocka’s 2010 single “No Hands.” After signing to Rick Ross’s label Maybach Music Group, Wale’s authentic sound took over the music world. Releasing his second studio album Ambition in 2011, Wale solidified his spot as a true artist. A leading single from the album “Lotus Flower Bomb,” earned him his first Grammy nomination. He followed up with two more Billboard charting albums and another number one single with “Bad,” featuring Rihanna on the remix.
Despite his successful streak, his later projects didn’t receive as much praise as the previous ones. Although he did not say if this was an album or another single release, the world of music can expect to hear new Wale this Friday.
