Wale talks “Festivus” mixtape and “The Album About Nothing” with HotNewHipHop [VIDEO]

Wale HNHHIn 2011, Wale changed his style and joined Maybach Music, after running into Rick Ross in Miami. It’s been four years since Wale joined Maybach and he is currently the king of the rap ballads. His current run follows the likes of Ja Rule and Fabolous before him.

Wale kept out of the spotlight for most of 2014, but he returned late in the year, closing out his album. Since 2013, Wale has been working with comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, on The Album About Nothing. The Jeremih-assisted single, “The Body,” has done well.

Currently, Wale is making his media rounds and HotNewHipHop caught up with him. At the end of the year, Wale dropped his mixtape, Festivus, making up for delaying his album. When he sat down with HotNewHipHop, Wale talked about the Festivus mixtape release and The Album About Nothing, which is due in March.
