Heading into his new album, Wale has been all over the place. Perception is everything and it was perceived that Wale was acting up a couple months back. First, he gets into a dustup with someone at the mall when he was headed out of town and then he got into a confrontation with an NBA announcer.
Ultimately, Wale revealed what really went down and his side of the story was seen, clearing him of instigation. The following month, Wale released “Bad” and his album was officially launched. Since then, “Bad” has become an anthem, but Tiara Thomas is no longer an integral member of Wale’s team.
Wale recently made his New York City media rounds and he continued his trek when he stopped by Power 105.1. Sitting down with DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, and Angela Yee for “The Breakfast Club,” Wale spoke on a few things. Among the topics was his work with Rihanna and, of course, The Gifted.
