Fans have been eagerly anticipating the Slaughterhouse album since the release of their debut album. From the beginning, Eminem had interest in adding Slaughterhouse to his roster at Shady Records. However, with Eminem re-establishing his own career, the group signed a one-album deal with E1 Music.
During the summer of 2010, Slaughterhouse, which consists of Joe Budden, Royce da 5’9, Joell Ortiz, and Crooked I, signed to Shady Records. Upon signing the deal, the group was granted full creative control by Eminem. The recording was easy, but the release date was elusive, as several 2010 release dates passed with no album and similar things occurred in 2011.
Early in 2012, Slaughterhouse revealed the title of their album would be welcome to: OUR HOUSE and the album was given a early spring release date. With the early spring coming and going, the album has yet to come, but Slaughterhouse has gone on tour, as promised. Recently, Slaughterhouse released information about their album, notifying fans of the album’s delay until June 12, 2012.
