Pittsburgh will never be the same, since Wiz Khalifa helped firmly establish the hip hop scene there. Before Wiz Khalifa, there was Asher Roth and he continues to make moves, working on his new album. However, much of the focus is on Wiz Khalifa, who is fresh off the release of his second album.
O.N.I.F.C. came out last week and has already become one of 2012’s favored albums, though many will be bumping it well into 2013. Wiz Khalifa knows a thing or two about making anthems, so he decided to load his sophomore effort with them. “Initiated,” which features Taylor Gang’s Lola Monroe, is a popular track.
Wiz Khalifa has broken down several songs from his album, but he is far from done with synopses. Breaking down the latest track, Wiz Khalifa explains “Initiated” and how it came to be, overall.
