Every major city is known for bad traffic, but Atlanta’s traffic is something different. One of the most frustrating parts of big city living is traffic jams. The most frustrating part about bad traffic is that the jams are normally caused by something simple. Someone on the highway could simply not be paying attention and get into a wreck. As a result, other drivers stop to look, instead of continuing to drive. In other cases, two people get out of their car to fight.
Driving can be a stressful experience, due to all of the factors at play. First of all, driving means sharing the highway with everyone else on the road. Not everyone drives the same, so there are people driving different speeds. Obviously, slower drivers naturally frustrate faster drivers. The people on the road are out there for various reasons. Some people don’t necessarily have to be on the road. As a result, those who do view those who don’t as being in the way.
On the highway, people don’t always make the smartest of decisions. As a result, some people engage in road rage, which causes a whole different set of problems. In turn, things can become very dangerous very quickly. Some people cause others to get frustrated, but when the people they frustrate react, they may have a weapon. Then, there are the times when both parties involved are ready to do something. A recent traffic jam on I-85, in Atlanta, was caused by two women fist fighting.
