Fresh off the release of April Showers, Wyclef Jean is preparing for the release of his next album. Four years have passed since Wyclef last released an album and that was long enough for the entire game to change. In response to these changes, Wyclef Jean has linked up with all of the hottest newcomers in the game.
Trying to tone down on the violence, Wyclef Jean has created a program where people can give him their weapons for him to turn them into instruments. This is why Wyclef wears the “gattar” around his neck. A few weeks ago, on MTV’s “Week in Jams,” Wyclef revealed this to the public.
Wyclef Jean recently stopped by Power 105.1 and he talked to “The Breakfast Club” about some of the projects he has in the works. Explaining the gattar to DJ Envy, Charlamagne, and Angela Yee, Wyclef also talked about April Showers. During the interview, he also revealed his next album, The Carnival Begins.
