What’s scary about Mase is that he could’ve been the biggest rapper ever, but he CHOSE to leave the game. Mase made his return nine years ago, but he is not the star he once was. Instead, Mase has played a background role, but the past few weeks have had a lot of people talking about his new album and potential record deal.

Pusha T got a lot of people talking about Mase when he borrowed his flow on his new album, My Name is My Name. On the “Let Me Love You” joint with Kelly Rowland, Pusha T borrowed Mase’s flow and even talked about doing it. This made a lot of people think back to the original.

As everybody already knows, 1997 was a transitional year for Bad Boy Records, with their star getting murdered. Mase was being developed, but he was thrown in the forefront and dropped his quadruple platinum album, Harlem World. He was properly introduced on the What You Want” track with Total, a hip hop classic.
