This was his fifth mixtape, but his major label debut. Not long after getting signed, Lil Baby featured EST Gee on “Real As It Gets.” That song took him to the top of the charts. The song wound up in the top 40 on Billboard. For an artist, who was previously a relative unknown, this was a huge rise. Now, Gee, himself is a major figure in the rap game. With the song’s release came the official music video. In 2021, EST Gee saw his dreams come true. This follows 2020, when he lived many worst nightmares. Last year, he was dealt with the deaths of his mother and brother. They died a week apart. Now, EST Gee is one of the biggest rappers in the industry. He has had the chance to collaborate with many big names. Among them are Lil Durk, Future, Pooh Shiesty, and Young Thug.
Overcoming adversity, EST Gee is a powerhouse. With the year ending, he’s now hoping to take a bigger step in 2022.
