This year, DJ Drama took a background role and just when people began to wonder where he had been. It’s been two years since Quality Street Music dropped and DJ Drama is ready to deliver the sequel. To start the week off, DJ Drama released the “Right Back” music video for his single, featuring Jeezy, Young Thug, and Rich Homie Quan.
DJ Drama went to New York City and he made his rounds with the media while he was there. This included visits to see Angie Martinez and Hot 97, as DJ Drama plugged his single and the new album. Early next year, DJ Drama will return with his new album, Quality Street Music 2.
Given the impact DJ Drama has had this week, it provided a lot of extra attention to the music video for “Right Back.” With the week coming to an end, Hip Hop Vibe’s team had to chose a Video of the Week. It was only right to give it to DJ Drama for “Right Back” with Jeezy, Young Thug, and Rich Homie Quan.
