This week in hip hop got off to an early start, with the BET Awards making Sunday the hottest day of the week. Many of the biggest names in black entertainment came together for the night. A lot of new music videos premiered during the show.
Rihanna showed up big during the BET Awards and she was rumored to have gotten into a situation. She used the night to debut the trailer for her single, “Bitch Better Have My Money.” The song dropped this past spring and now is hitting its stride.
Big Sean came super close to getting back-to-back Videos of the Week, with his “Play No Games” with Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign, with his “Martin”-influenced visual. But, Rihanna stole the show with her sexy, violent, music video. Even though the video dropped yesterday, it has all of the online world talking and it is our Video of the Week, this week.
