Never does the media have anything positive to say about Troy Ave, but he does his thing. This week saw his name brought up, in relation to the drama with Taxstone. But, he wasn’t the focal point of that story, so he didn’t catch much flack.
Troy Ave is doing what he’s always done, which is focusing on his career. Choosing to go independent, Troy Ave says he makes just as much as the major artists. Whatever the case, he manages to keep coming back, which counts for something.
In a week where he was considered down, Troy Ave had a party. His video for “Freaks Only” came out this week and what man wouldn’t enjoy what Troy’s doing in that pic? Because of this, and the fan reception, “Freaks Only” is the HHV Video of the Week for this week.
