Often, Wale laments about what could have been, in his career. Truth be told, there is no reason why he isn’t as big as Drake, other than he isn’t as big as Drake. His Ambition album’s singles proved the kind of star that Wale could be.
Perhaps, it was Rick Ross not allowing Wale to release the follow-up album in 2012 that changed things. When he returned, in 2013, it wasn’t the same. Even his 2015 run didn’t have the same kind of success, despite boasting Usher on the hook.
But, as previously stated, Wale not making good music was never the issue. This week saw Wale unleash the “My Love” music video to much success. His new video, featuring Major Lazer, Dua Lipa, and WizKid has taken home the Video of the Week for this week.
